The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, there was a loud explosion coming from the roof of the vehicle. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and discovered that the rear of the sunroof had exploded, and there was glass inside the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the cloth liner was in place and kept the glass from entering the cabin of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact also stated that there was a class action lawsuit related to the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer.
