1 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem of the 2001 Hyundai XG300

Failure Date: 04/06/2006

: the contact stated while driving at various speeds, the automatic transmission pcm condenser failed resulting in a hesitation while accelerating. Also, while stopped at a stop sign, the engine revved to a high level and suddenly decreased. The vehicle was seen by a dealer who reprogrammed the pcm, but the problem persisted.

2 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem of the 2001 Hyundai XG300

Failure Date: 04/15/2004

Intermittently will either stall or launch forward while driving. Dealership replaced the pcm as indicated in the power train recall 01v362000, although the VIN number was not included in the recall. The replacement of this part didn't correct the failure.
