Transmission Shudder Problems of Hyundai XG300

I have a Hyundai 2001 Xg300. Since my purchase in 2001 up until present at various and unpredictable times, when I accelerate the transmission stutters/ shudders causing a noticeable delay in acceleration. This condition is at all speeds but notable between 35-43 mph 55-65 mph. When I'm trying to pass another vehicle or if I would accelerate to move out-of another vehicles way I would be bogged down with a stutter/shudder from the transmission which may cause an unsafe condition. I've been to the dealership and they have been very helpful and up-dated the transmission computer but the problem did not get any better or worse. It appears Hyundai is aware of the problem because they have a service bulletin on the problem. My concern is it may be a safety problem.
