1 Front Suspension problem of the 2004 Hyundai XG350

Failure Date: 04/08/2006

: the contact stated while driving 20mph, the right front tire well erupted in flames. The contact pulled over and removed the passengers from the vehicle. Bystanders tried to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher; however, the fire department arrived to put out the fire. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The dealer determined the front axel fractured. The vehicle previously had the same problem with the axel 9 other times. The vehicle is currently undergoing additional inspection by the dealer.

2 Front Suspension problem of the 2002 Hyundai XG350

Failure Date: 04/01/2003

The contact stated the right hand side of the vehicle was out of alignment because the cambers were too far out. The alignment shop explained to the contact the maximum out on the vehicle was 5. 8 this vehicle was 5. 5 on the right hand side and 0. 0 on the left hand side. This caused the tires to wear out quickly even with rotation. The dealership would not provide assistance. The contact was the original owner of the vehicle and it has never been in an accident.
