Two problems related to other fuel system have been reported for the 2004 Infiniti FX35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The gas gauge is incorrectly reading the fuel, and I am not the only one having a problem. Many others are. . Infiniti wants 800+ to replace something that can cause a accident because of a gauge? this should be addressed properly. More importantly, this presents a major safety issue by potentially causing a driver to run out of gas on the interstate and be seriously or fatally injured in a rear-end accident. I have counted at least 56 other 2003-04+ Fx35/45 car owners on this forum who have experienced this problem. This does not include the potential thousands of fx owners who have experienced the problem but not reported it.
