Ever since I bought my Infiniti the air bag light flashed rapidly on the dash. I received notice a couple years ago about the air bags being recalled. I took my vehicle to roseville Infiniti and supposedly the airbags were replaced I expected it to take a couple hours it was in and out in under 2 hours. When I left the delership the light was still blinking and never quit blinking. My concern was to call and ask why it was still blinking ? I was told that it probably wasnt reset however the air bag was replaced . I was in an accident recently and it was a serious frontal collision and not one airbag went off . I was seriously injured my hand was fractured my left leg was hurt and I had a concussion and cervical sprain this all would have been prevented had my airbags deployed.

I live 200-400 miles from any Infiniti dealer. Infiniti will not authorize the repair at my local Nissan dealership. The only option was to tow my car 200 miles to a dealer there and then tow it back. Obviously, if there were any issues following the repair. . . I would have to drive the 400 miles to have it resolved. This is not acceptable to me. Recently, my son needed to borrow my car and he lives close to the murray utah dealer so I called them to arrange the repair. They made an appt. For this weekend, denied a replacement vehicle and then said that the visit would only be to inspect and see if my airbag needed to be replaced. If it did, they would need to order the part and have the vehicle brought in when they had the part. They did not have the part in stock and could not tell me a time frame that the part would arrive. I then called the Infiniti airbag replacement department from the letters I receive weekly. The representative said she had never heard of this and called the dealer directly. They continued with this nonsense stating they had to see if I actually needed the repair. Mind you non of the communication in the last 5 years mentions anything that I might possibly have this defective airbag. The representative connected me to Infiniti corporation who stood on this same policy. I had regional manager call back and she repeated that I would have to inspect and then order. . . Mind you that would require me to commuting 8 hours if the part doesn't come within a few weeks when I will have the car back. I asked if they could send me the replacement part and I will pay for the repair (no) authorize my local Nissan or other dealer to inspect if I have the faulty airbag before towing my car 2 hours to a repair shop (no) do they care that my airbag could be triggered at any time and possibly kill someone (no).
The air bag light started blinking. I took to Nissan thr6 ran diagnostic on it $152 and said the passenger sensor was bad. It would cost $8000 to replace it because the whole seat would need replaced.
Good day! according to the VIN code of my car, there are revocable companies, the dealer refuses to replace it.
I've called Infiniti and another number on a letter I keep getting 877-481-0083 many, many times and told them I have not owned this car for over 15-years and for them to take my name off the list. No luck and they are wasting time and money and not finding the real owner!!!.

This vehicle has 3 recalls programs: the front passenger air bag, dealers will replace the headlamp assemblies, dealers will replace the rear combination lamp assemblies. Could you help with this replaces.
Ncorrect operation of the headlights and taillights, as well as the passenger airbag.
Takata recall - how do I replace my air bags when my Infiniti dealership no longer handles Infiniti and takata will not honor my recall expense? I live in a city of over 200,000 people but the nearest dealership is 300 miles away and I am handicapped. If I have to have someone take it elsewhere how will I be reimbursed. I should not have to pay for this recall which I can not afford.
Takara recall l. Please replace this item by revocable company. I ask you to clarify what revocable campaigns are conducted for my car?.
Takata recall. I was driving my Fx35 2012 Infiniti and the airbag spontaneously deployed and exploded. I did not hit any car or object, this was not due to an accident. . . . Just a deployment. It was a large boom, loud explosion, smell of a strong gun powder odor that burns your eyes. The airbag was torn. Please note that this happened as I was driving down a suburb street, no more than 35 mph. I stopped the car right in the lane as I was in shock . . . . Seeing no obstruction I pulled into the gas station a few yards up. Loud.

Well I did some research and I found out that the air bags were recall since may 24, 2016. When I contacted infinity they tell me no. Please help. Right now it flashing.
The airbag was recalled on may 23, 2016 due to the takata defective airbags. Till today Infiniti has failed to provide a replacement for the defective airbag citing no available parts. Their advice is only not to sit in the seat where the defective airbag is present which is not an acceptable solution. I am not sure how much longer I need to wait or if they are just playing the waiting game for my car to be retired before they need to do work on it.

Takata recall driver clock spring and air bag should be replaced.

My airbag light came on again recently, without any incident and I am concerned that this means my car is now unsafe. This happened in 2017 and it was a repair that was made without charge. I have now been informed that it would cost over $1,000 to repair, but I think this is a malfunction that should be covered by the dealer, as there has been an issue with the airbags before.

Urgent safety recall air bag.
Takata recall (previous case number 1039551) I have been following up with Infiniti consumer affairs since August 2016 and was advised today from gil, regional manager that the official (not temporary piece) was available for installation. I am concerned because the NHTSA website states that as of 12/14/2016 "recall is incomplete. Remedy not yet available". The local dealership has been dishonest with me before and I want to make sure that they are not giving me a temporary repair with "low risk", but the actual official repair with "no risk" as I drive often with a 2 year old, and wife. . . And I have also experienced someone losing their life due to a similar recall issue. Please advise.

Takata recall see attached notification received in August of 2016. Note red and underlined areas. Infiniti advised owners to handle this recall in an unacceptable way for two reasons 1. Airbag deployment while driving is likely to cause a wreck which could endanger others unrelated to the recall 2. Metal pieces would not just hit the passenger seat, they would go throughout the vehicle the first of my many calls to Infiniti ended with no solution, no plan for loaner cars or replacement and saying they had really been hit by surprise. The second call I got a case number and was told all of my calls were being recorded. I received a call from Infiniti that they had an interim fix, to call my service manager and ask for it. But, that when the real replacement part was available, they would have to replace the interim one with it. My service agent told me, he can't do it because it's the same part that's in the car now. It's activity to appear they are doing something. Infiniti confirmed it being the same part. Each person has a different spin, from asking how many miles my car has on it to telling me the interim part won't cause harm if the airbags are deployed in an accident (even just a fender bender) because they put bubble wrap around it. Infiniti is not communicating, not being honest and endangering many lives. Their unethical business practices leave no doubt that they are trying to hide what they are doing from NHTSA too. As the sole guardian of a 9 year old, I pray nothing happens to me when I drive the car to work every day and it's hard to explain why she can't go somewhere because she can't ride in my car anymore. I don't have the money to trash the car and start over but I do have the morals and values that keep me from selling it to someone else. Someone has got to step in and make Infiniti do the right thing.
I have received the notice of the March 2016 recall, notice on 10/3/2016. I have contacted the 800 ~ on the letter and also my closest infinity dealership. Both have said they do not have air bags at this time. Two people in my area of houston, TX have died recently due to their air bags exploding and sharp pieces it them on the head, neck & upper body. I use this car everyday and want it fixed now!! traffic in houston is dangerous and I do not want to die because infinity will not replace my airbags. I am sure the dealership has air bags. They repair cars damaged in wrecks everyday and replace their air bags. I think this is terrible that people are dying and infinity does nothing. Hopefully you can help me. Also when I called the dealership, they transferred me to a salesperson. He tried to talk me into trading in this car. I am retired and the car is just about paid for and I hope to keep it for many years to come. Help!!!.
Takata recall. I received a notice from infinity about recall 16v-349 in August or September of 2016. I called my local dealer and they said they were expecting the new airbags by the end of the month so I set an appointment, because they did not receive the air bags I have made new appointments each month since September through January of this year but they still don't have the parts. They called other dealers but they only had parts for 2007 and later, not 2005. It appears that my local dealer has made every effort, and it's the corporate office of infinity that doesn't send the dealer the parts to complete the recall. Can you help my dealer get the parts needed to complete the recall?.
