When applying brakes there is a screeching sound. Dealer found front rotors glazed over, cleaned and lubricated rotors. Then on 7 June 2001, vehicle was taken back to dealer due to screeching noise. Dealer found front pads cracked, and front rotors to be grooved and hot spotted, turned rotors. Checked rear brakes, found no problem. Sometimes there is screeching noise even after consumer takes foot off brake, braking distance normal. This happens intermittently.
