One problem related to engine clicking and tapping noises has been reported for the 2006 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have a 2006 manual transmission G35 that is consuming up to 2 quarts of oil every 1000 miles. I did not realize this was happening until my engine made a loud repetitive ticking noise and when I checked the oil there was less than a quart in it. I've since continued topping off my oil weekly and contacted the dealerships. Since I am out of warranty the only thing I can do is replace the block myself. I am very disappointed how they are handling this situation with not only me but many other Infiniti owners. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
