One problem related to transmission noise has been reported for the 2008 Infiniti G35. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
New vehicle driven only 4k miles when noises started emanating from the engine compartment anytime rpms exceeded 4000. Dealer diagnosed problem as a burned out transmission requiring replacement. Had the transmission seized up while driving, it could have led to a very dangerous situation.
