Headlights Problems of Infiniti G35

Tl the contact owns a 2007 Infiniti G35. The contact stated that there was water inside both headlight units. The front driver side headlight unit failed again. Infiniti palm springs (67615 e palm canyon dr, cathedral city, CA 92234, (760) 324-8760) stated that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The failure mileage was 63,700.

The contact owns a 2004 infinity G35 coupe. The contact stated that the bezels for both front headlights were cracked. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the dealer confirmed the failure. The contact also mentioned that the front passenger seat was loose and did not adjust properly. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures but the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 84,000 and the current mileage was 85,000.

2004 Infiniti G35 coupe headlight housings show cracks in plastic separating the low/high beam housing from the foglight housing below on both sides. This is a wide spread problem as reported by many owners. Infiniti dealers don't wish to fix under warranty but will do so when pressured while dealers with customer complaints after factory 4 years or 60,000 mile has expired refuse to replace.

The headlight housing that separates the low beam from the high beam is currently cracked, have seen 20 other cars with the same problem on the 03-05 coupe's it is a quality problem and needs to be resolved by dealer weather within or out of the warranty, nothing has been done to fix this matter the dealerships that I have went to and I even called the corporate of Infiniti on this matter and they do not want to fess up on their poor quality headlights. I would like to see all of our lights get replaced with the new projector lights since they are obviously a better quality then the non projector lights that the 03-05 coupes came with.

From the second year after purchase of auto, the headlight outer plastic cover has become whitish and opaque, limiting the light output of headlight and reducing road illumination, thus providing limited road illumination al night.
