The contact owns a 2008 Infiniti G37s. The contact stated that while merging off an exit ramp at 60 mph, he attempted to shift into a lower gear but the clutch remained stuck in neutral. The contact was unable to shift gears. The contact safely merged onto the shoulder with the gear in neutral. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, who stated that the failure was a driver’s error. The vehicle was being repaired at the dealer.
