Interior Panels Sun Visor problems of the 2013 Infiniti JX35

The contact owns a 2013 Infiniti Jx35. The contact stated that the driver’s side sun visor was unintendedly lowering while driving at various speeds. The contact stated that the sun visor was obstructing his vision and had become a distraction while driving. The contact used a bungee cord to hold the sun visor in place to prevent the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided a case number and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
