The contact owns a 2013 Infiniti Jx35. The contact stated that for the past several months, the air bag warning light had been intermittently illuminated, and the fuel gauge had failed to indicate the proper fuel levels in the fuel tank. Additionally, it was difficult to open the hood. The contact researched online and related the failures to NHTSA campaign number: 16v244000 (air bags),12v398000 (fuel system, gasoline), and 15v033000 (structure). The vehicle was taken to a dealer, and the contact was informed that there were no open recalls associated with the VIN for the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 147,516.
Our jx 35 has a ongoing rattle in the center stack, mid-dash area, just below the navigation area. I will be taking our vehicle in to the nearest dealership (80mi one-way) once they actually return my appointment request to get this rattle fix (this will be the second attempt!!!).
