Made takata airbag recall appointment with dealer on August 27, 2021. Then dropped car off dealer at 2pm, September 1, 2021. Today it is September 16, 2021--the job is supposed to take 2 hours. The dealer still has my car. So I am at 2 weeks and 1 day. The service manager is not returning calls. No loaner car given. That does not seem reasonable. No wonder why there are so many airbag recall not fixed two weeks and a day to fix a 2 hour issue. Please help. Time limits are needed once repair is scheduled.

Takata recall. Infiniti is not working with us in getting the recall work done. I live over 400 miles away from the nearest dealership and Infiniti is having us pay to either, get a rental car or pay for a hotel room. Of which I cannot afford either. I do not feel safe driving it until the recall is done.

Takata recall Infiniti has failed to fix/replace the air bags as part of the recall. It has been ~6 months, with no resolution.
Received a recall about 4 months ago regarding my vehicle. Infiniti has yet to provide a remedy for this issue.
The dashboard is cracking the driver seat bind with center console passenger air bag malfunction.
Takata recall. . . . I was notified in September of 2016 that the passenger air bag was defective and I should not allow the seat be occupied. I have repeatedly call infinity requesting my vehicle be repaired. It is now January 2017. I feel infinity's poor handling of this recall has created an undo burden on the recall vehicle owners. Please look into the poor execution of this recall. Infinity offered a rental thru the local dealer but when I contacted the dealer and left a message it was not returned, I believe the dealers do not want to be involved in the rental program, because my original dealer does not offer any temporary fixes infinity speaks of.
Takata recall. I received a letter from Infiniti that my vehicle was under recall # 16v-349 in sept 2016 and that I would be contacted when parts were in. I have heard nothing in 6 months and I am driving an unsafe vehicle or I must not drive it at all. This is totally unacceptable and I am asking for NHTSA assistance to get the airbag replaced.

Takata recall - 16v-349. Rcvd recall notice approx. Early August 2016 (letter not dated which is strange). I called dealer who said to call cons affairs because they were not made of anything related to parts. 6 weeks has now passed and cons affairs told me it may be another 6 weeks or longer. Their advice to me is to simply not let anyone ride in the passenger seat. For a few weeks, I can accommodate this but long term this is not an option. I need to have people sit in the front seat. I've never had such a horrible experience . . . To this day I still do not know a timeline for when my car will get fixed and everyday that goes by where I can't have a front seat passenger costs me money.
Infiniti claims that they don't want me to have a passenger ride with me until the parts are received to fix it this fall, but that is not an option. I feel they should provide an alternative vehicle until the vehicle is fixed.

Takata recall: received first recall notice July 2016. Contacted Infiniti dealer in san antonio (210)824-1272 and was told parts would not come in until October 2016. My name and VIN were placed on a "list". Called same dealer oct 2016, no parts yet. Called dealer again April 15, 2017 still no parts and told I will be called when parts come in (spoke with "mike"). Called dealer again June 7, 2017 and spoke with jorge - told that airbags came in but dealership has to wait for replacement dashes due to them "breaking" when removed to replace air bag. Jorge had no idea if or when they will get the parts. Called dealership again sept. 2017 and same song & dance. Not sure what I can do with this car now? worthless to trade in due to recall (seems immoral too) and a danger to my family????.

Takata recal, my wife called the number and talked to someone at Infiniti. But our car shuts off in traffic,,,by the grace of god, we narrowly escaped three/four different accidents. And as we were searching for the problem, we noticed a recall for that also. She asked about a loaner vehicle until the recall can be fixed. But to no avail. Im not sure of what to do, its a very bad situation when your car just shuts off, the stearing wheel locks and you began a slow coast in moving traffic. And I feel we shouldnt have to miss work, kids miss practise, and just sit home until the problem is fixed. We have no other vehicle , and terrorfied to drive this one,,, the recall says " do not allow passengers to ride in the passenger seat". . . . . . And it also shits down,, im not sure how the Infiniti loaner program works, bit I decided to write this site because ot is at the bottom of the saftey recall notice we received.
