Takata recall - Infiniti M35 2007 received the recall notice around 6 months ago and never got a second letter for an appointment. Just called the Infiniti dealer and was told they will order the parts and my appointment will be in two more months. Why weren't the parts already on order? why did I have to call? why is it going to take two more months? no one to ride in the passenger seat for 8 months! totally ridiculous for a major safety problem.

Takata recall - we are nearly nine months into this and my car is still not repaired - they have scheduled me twice only to cancel the day before due to installation issues with other cars or lack of product to do the repair. Infiniti offered to rent a car for me but logistically that does not work as we live over an hour from the dealer and I do not have space to store another vehicle in our driveway and they will not store the car at the dealership. I would like Infiniti to at the very least to reimburse me for value of the rental on a monthly basis until this is resolved - retroactively to the date of the recall. This recall and the restrictions on passengers has been a real challenge to me.

"takata recall" I was never notified by Infiniti that there was a recall for a passenger airbag on my vehicle. I found out on my own that a recall existed. I purchased and financed my used Infiniti M35 through the dealer and financed through Infiniti finance. Now I have been told that the parts on back order until 2017.
Takata recall my vehicle has been in the service dept since 10/31/2016 I was issued a rental car but I would like nothing more than to get the vehicle back that I am currently paying for. This is an inconvenience for myself and my family. Driving a rental is like walking on pins and needles. Being extra careful.
"takata recall" this recall has been issued since may 2016. It is now October 2016. The initial letter stated that the passenger air bag may rupture under continued exposure of high humidity, and stated that the dealership is waiting on parts to perform the recall. It also stated not to allow passengers in your front seat during this time. Very difficult to do if you only have one vehicle to your house. I called infinit and there advice was "keep your seat pushed all the way back, and where a seat belt in the main time, call back next month the parts should be in". I find this highly unprofessional, and highly unsafe. When Toyota did a recall for faulty air bags of the same caliber they actually gave my friend a loaner car until the parts came in for them to repair his vehicle. At least they gave him options, this dealership is full of them selves and should be ashamed.

I have contacted the Nissan consumers and filed a report approximately 2-months ago and was given an incident number. I had complained about several cracks on my dashboard in my 2007 Infiniti M35. My vehicle of low mileage and well maintained and kept in the garage. I have never utilized any other products on the dashboards. I have been reviewing several postings by other consumers that have been dealing with the same issue and the dealership refuses to install a new dashboard due to the age of the vehicle. This is a malfunction of production on Nissan Infiniti part and all those consumers affected should get a free dashboard replacement for the defective of part when car was made into production. To-date there's a recall on the airbag which no part still has come or delivered yet to the dealership. I am addressing my grave concern and hope that other consumers will file a class action suit again the Nissan Infiniti for selling these certain kind of vehicles with defects and do not want to honor the replacement of dashboards that were improperly produced by the manufacturer. For a luxury car to have such problems then I am very appalled due to the fact that's all I mostly purchase is Nissan vehicles. This matter needs to be rectified with all consumers that are having the same issue as I am with this particular vehicle and other models of the Infiniti are having the same or similar problems.

Takata recall: apparently recall was issued in may 2016 but I received the notice only around July 2016. I have inquired from my dealer and contacted Infiniti consumer affairs concerning date when the repair will be done. The repair has not been done and I called Infiniti of charlotte on 11/08/2016. I was told that the parts are not available and Infiniti does not have a clue as to when the parts will be available. I have put my Infiniti on a very restricted use driving only around 10 miles and I have not allowed any passenger to ride in the car when I drive it. This has been very inconvenient for my wife and me. The Infiniti dealership where I have my Infiniti service and maintenance is Infiniti of charlotte east independence blvd, matthews, nc 28105. (704-847-9010).

Takata recall: may 23, 2016 manufacturer recall numberr1622 NHTSA recall number16v-349 recall statusrecall incomplete according to this recall, it states that I should not have passengers in the car because the airbag could deploy at any time and may send metal pieces flying. This is the only form of transportation that I own, it is not only inconvenient not to be able to drive others around (I have 2 kids) but it makes me worried about myself. How long does it take for them to get the parts to replace this issue? how much longer are we to endure this inconvenience and stress? it has been almost 2 years.

"takata recall". . . Recall was issued NHTSA 16v-349 around may 2016. No results from dealer as of this date. This is a disgrace, why bother with a recall if it can not be enforced and provide results. ?? is this another ineffective agency? a lot of people employed but apparently producing few results.
