Fail To Accelerate problems of the 2007 Infiniti M35

The contact owns a 2007 Infiniti M35. The contact stated while driving approximately 20 mph the accelerator pedal was engaged; however, if failed to accelerate. When the vehicle did accelerate without warning it crashed into the rear of another vehicle. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to a dealer. The contact received a recall notification under NHTSA campaign number: 13v430000 (vehicle speed control) after the failure occurred which was directly related to the failure. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and the mechanic did not diagnose the failure. The mechanic only repaired the front end of the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
