Driving on my city road at 45 mph my Infiniti M35 instantly went from normal rpms to 0, brakes locking and steering as well. I was able to pull off into a company parking lot to turn my Infiniti off after getting it immediately in park. I tried to restart my car and almost five days of trying and having it towed home, I am still unable to get my car to restart. All of the interior lights from slip, brake, service enginne, the battery, etc continue to stay on. The car will try to crank but won't turn over. I have tried replacing the key fob batteries, put new oil, all new gas, 2 new batteries, multiple jumps, checked all fuses, and still nothing. The brakes are still hard to press on and locked since the idling and they won't even hardly move as I try starting the ignition. After a few tries of trying to crank all the lights stay on then loses all power again.
My pcm(power/engine control module, more than $700) has a problem, it shut down the fan randomly. The engine becomes too hot to drive. I parked it around 4 hours to cool down. Ac is also not working because of the pcm. It blows hot air inside the car. There is news about the pcm recall, but it doesn't show up in the system. . Read more...
Crusing at about 75mph on a busy freeway , my cars rpm bounced up then dropped down to 0 , the car became stiff and turned off. I had to cross 3 lanes at about 20 mph and pull over on the shoulder. The car would not turn on until about 30 mins later , I had to drive home with no power steering. I later find out it was an error in the ecm and it is an electrical issue.
Electrical fault in a sensor that I believe causes the engine to shut down. This issue was reported to Infiniti but not corrected; although, Nissan issued a voluntary recall citing a sensor failure that can lead to engine shutdown.

Takata recall turn my car on and there is a ticking noise coming from behind my dashboard. It will adjust the volume of my radio automatically without me touching it. After a few clicks it will short out my volume. My vehicle was stationary.

As I was driving on a normal city street in regular traffic, the driver seat suddenly started moving forward, powered by the seat control. I reached down to push the lever/seat control back, but the seat motor would not stop; it pushed the seat fully forward. I stopped the car to move it back and was unable to. The other seat functions worked: up, down, tilt, etc. This has happened on four separate occasions. The last three times the seat motor has started working again of its own accord. This time it is still stuck forward.
Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Infiniti m-35. The contact stated that the vehicle randomly stalled several times with no warning. The vehicle was to be taken to an independent mechanic and a dealer for further inspection and diagnosis. The manufacturer indicated that a recall repair had been provided once by a dealer and refused to provide a solution. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.

March 7, 2017, Nissan agreed to replace the steering column lock on the 2009-2010 altimas and maxima due to the malfunctioning of the electric steering column lock free of charge. I have the exact problem with my 2009 Infiniti M35x which Nissan also make. There need to be a recall on this electronic part for all Infiniti, altima, and maxima. It cost $900 to $1,500 to replace the part. I have been stranded several times. Some times in dangerous locations late at night with my children. The car cost me enough, now I have to buy a part that might fail soon then I will have to spend another grand or so. Recall please.

Today I was driving my vehicle and the low fuel light came on but the fuel guage showed it still had half a tank, so I went to the gas station and filled it up on when I turned on the car I seen that the fuel gauge its not working, another thing is where it shows what gear your on it seems to be broken like the little screen is broken from in side its hard to explain ill post some pictures so you can see what I mean. Also the (afs) on the front left headlight does not work the beam stay's all the way down pointing the ground not staright ahead so I could see clearly whats in front of me. This has occured on the left side head light the right side its working fine. On the first picture you could see the fuel gauge position and om the second picture I took of the navigaton screen where it shows the miles left that I could drive the gauge should be more than half ways. On the 3 picture is where I was saying about the gear screen thats broken from inside, it looks like a tier or somthing. On the fourth picture you could see that the left beam in pointing down instead of staright like the right beam is ive tried adjusting it and even took it to my mechanic to adjust them but it still stays the same.
Takata recal, my wife called the number and talked to someone at Infiniti. But our car shuts off in traffic,,,by the grace of god, we narrowly escaped three/four different accidents. And as we were searching for the problem, we noticed a recall for that also. She asked about a loaner vehicle until the recall can be fixed. But to no avail. Im not sure of what to do, its a very bad situation when your car just shuts off, the stearing wheel locks and you began a slow coast in moving traffic. And I feel we shouldnt have to miss work, kids miss practise, and just sit home until the problem is fixed. We have no other vehicle , and terrorfied to drive this one,,, the recall says " do not allow passengers to ride in the passenger seat". . . . . . And it also shits down,, im not sure how the Infiniti loaner program works, bit I decided to write this site because ot is at the bottom of the saftey recall notice we received.
I brought my car inside to vacume it out on a cold day . I closed all the doors and both passenger side doors never opened again. The dealer said it needed actuators for around $1,500. 00 plus the cost of new door panels because they cant get the doors open. I went through this last winter with the right front door.
Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Infiniti m 35. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled with no warning. The contact was able to restart the vehicle but the failure recurred and the vehicle stalled again. The vehicle was to be taken to a dealer or repair shop for inspection and diagnosis. The contact was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 13v430000 (vehicle speed control). The VIN was not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and they provided no remedy. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.
These defective parks keeps making the idle jump and sometimes stall. I keep replacing them to see if they are bad but will not clear the check engine light.
Right rear door does not lock or unlock when driver activates door lock lever. Also does not unlock or lock when using the remote door lock/unlock device. This first occurred at about 100,000 miles. The dealership diagnosed the problem as a faulty door lock assembly and said the repair cost would be over $700. I chose not to have it repaired. The same problems apply to the front passenger side door. This occurred at about 110,000 miles. Again I chose not to spend $700+ to repair that. The same problems apply to the driver side door. This occurred at about 113,000 miles. I again chose not to pay $700+ for repairs. Since three of my four doors have now exhibited the same defect, I asked the dealer to have an infinity representative contact me. I was contacted and told that infinity would not take any responsibility for the costs of these needed repairs because of the mileage and age of the car.
Traveling an tire sensor came on indicating low air pressure. Pull to the emergency lane on bridge on I-55 in louisiana to find nothing wrong. While on the shoulder another car passed with road debris damaging my car. I see a recall for the sensor yet the state of louisiana is not identified for the recall. Can you tell me how louisiana was not included in the tire sensor recall and can you help me get the sensors replaced? I also see many comments of the headlights not be set correctly and I struggle with the low beam view of the highway.
Every time upon filling the fuel tank the in-dash gauge does not register the full amount. After driving a while eventually it does creep back up but not to full. The problem seems to be progressively getting worse. The problem appears to be in the sensors in the fuel tank, just guessing, because all the other in dash gauges seem to be working fine.
My pedal stopped working, then it cut completely off while I was driving on a major hwy doing 60mph. I just received a recall notice in the email yesterday 11. 12. 2013, NHTSA recall 13v-430, now, I spoke with a rep stating I will receive another notice. This action has already happened to me and I have replaced it out of my own pocket. I do not see why I should have to wait on a second notice. Clearly in the recall letter it states, if the mil is illuminated, contact your Infiniti retailer immediately and it will make arrangements for an immediate repair. Do not continue using your vehicle. Again, this has already happened to me and I have paid for the replacement, what am I waiting for in order to get a full refund?????.
While driving on a freeway at low rate of speed (rush hour) I have experienced engine stall condition. All warning lights went on,including brake indicator. I was able to shift gear into park position and shut the vehicle down. After a couple minutes, I restarted the engine and drived home. That was one scary moment.
On three separate days, I had trouble stopping my brand new Infiniti M35. The first day, on four occasions when I applied the brakes, the car bucked and shook and continued to go forward before finally stopping. On the second and third days, this occurred twice each day. Several people saw this happening and screemed for me to put the car into neutral or turn off the motor. I took the car to the Infiniti dealer three times for this problem. Checked the computer read out, road tested the vehicle for 70 miles, and inspected it thoroughly but could not duplicate the problem. My friend tried twice to apply the brake and accelerator pedal simultaneously but could not duplicate the problem that I had. On each occasion, I was scared to death and was shaking and sweating. I am afraid that I will be killed in this car due to a malfunction that can not be diagnosed. If anyone else has had a similar problem, please report it so that Infiniti will know that they have a serious, intermittent problem with the M35 that might end up by killing people.
Navigation system screen flickers when reverse is engaged. Bluetooth phone interface has not been working properly, module replaced with no improvement. Horrible gas mileage (as low as 8. 5 mpg). Loud metallic "gong" noise can be heard when vehicle is stopped.
