Fuel Injection Rail Problems of Infiniti QX56

Tl the contact owns a 2011 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle failed to respond with the accelerator pedal depressed. The contact stated that there was an abnormal fuel odor coming from under the hood of the vehicle. Upon investigation, the contact became aware of a possible failure with the fuel rail sensor however, the VIN was not included. Infiniti of lubbock (6225 spur 327, lubbock, TX 79424, (806)701-4444) was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the repair cost would have to be paid for out of pocket. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 167,000.
