The contact owns a 2008 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle suddenly stalled. Additionally, the contact became aware that the vehicle was experiencing inaccurate fuel gauge reading. The contact stated that the fuel gauge indicated that there was fuel in the vehicle while the fuel tank was empty. There was no warning light illuminated. No further information was available. The vehicle was taken back to the residence. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.  .

The contact owns a 2011 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 mph, the vehicle began to shake and inadvertently stalled. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with needing the high-pressure fuel tank replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. When car stop on stop sign, ready to go, brief a moment it hold a car & then go. I have been taking to a dealer for fix ,they couldn't fix or they couldn't find a problem. Seems to me either the transmission or fuel relate problem. My car is Infiniti Qx56. Please look in to this problem.
