International 4300 owners have reported 1 problem related to rear axle spindle (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The front axle bearings failed on two separate occasions while in transit. These incidents both took place within an 8 month period of each other. Both mechanics stated that the front wheel was inadequately lubricated and that is what caused the wheel to seize up and break off at the spindle. This flaw was likely developed during assembly which is why this issue is so common. This issue will cause bearing to seizie which leads to wheel separation. In my case both of the front wheels were separated from the vehicle on 2 separate occasions. The authorized mechanic that I used explaind that this vehicle has this type of issues all the time, "this is a common issue with this vehicle". I contacted International and they have yet to respond.
