1 Speed Control Springs problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2007

On January 1, 2007 I was coming to a stop in heavy traffic. I applied the brake but the car lurched forward and I accelerated into a stopped car containing a family. I occasionally experienced the problem of unitended acceleration prior to the accident but at the time of the accident, I had not put the facts together. In the spring of 2008, I was on wet pavement going downhill when I applied the brake. The car seemed to accelerate rather than deaccelerate and I was thrown forward and into the rear of stopped pick up truck. I was injured on both occasions. I have called on Jaguar on several occasions to inquire about the problem I have described herein. Each time Jaguar denied any knoweldge of any such problems associated with my car. The car currently has 72,000 miles and I rarely drive it. Frankly, I'm too afraid to drive it.
