Check Engine Light On Problems of Jaguar XF

Driving down the road, get to a light or I am turning- the car turns off for no reason. Then I cut it off then start it back up. It runs find. I thought it was just weird. Then happened again today twice. It stalls. My check engine light comes on. Why is my stalling? do you have any data for me? I am trying to find out what to do. I am going to research more as well. Please help me!.

The vehicle lost power on freeway, lost power to power steering, felt sluggish (no fuel) when I pressed accelerator, could not accelerate above 35 mph. Had to stop car on side of road. Turned on and off waithed 10min, car started and was able to drive, but repeated above discrimination. Occured 12072019 and 12082019. Dash lights came on and check engine light stayed on. Add 93 octane fuel thinking I had bad fuel, problem continues. Scheduled appt with Jaguar to look at car on 12102019. Car not drive able. It is under warranty. Taking car to Jaguar fort worth. Vehicle suffered from complete engine and power stall. Vehicle shows to have 12 recalls related to engine, power stall and hoses.

Tl- the contact owns a 2010 Jaguar Xf. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph the check engine light suddenly illuminated and the vehicle shut off. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer Jaguar of freeport located at 146 w. Sunrise hwy, freeport NY. Who diagnosed that the air injection pump was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but 3 days later the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer who diagnosed that the failure was due to at fuel leak. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000. Jft.

My vehicle has less than 59k miles and the check engine light is on. I was told the car is running too cool. There is an issue with the coolant system, fuel system etc. The car drives fine however, the dealership needs to replace hoses, housings, etc. To the tune of $1382 I have never heard of a car running too cool. . This is a manufacturing issue. Also, the headliner attached to the sunroof has falled due to heat and I understand this is a common problem with these Jaguars.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure where the dealer performed a diagnostic that was unable to locate a failure code. The dealer replaced the gear shift and the transmission control sensor. The failure was not corrected and the vehicle continued to stall. The manufacturer was contacted and they advised the contact to take to vehicle back to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 37,000 and the current mileage was 52,000. The VIN was not available.

Engine stalls, then check engine light appears. Soon after I brought my 2010 Jaguar Xf maybe 45 days later the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealer all they did was cleared the light. Two months later it would not start after trying several times. I called the dealer who was no help. A few hours later it just started. Every few months a have engine trouble either it rides rough, stalls or doesn't start. Something need to be done ASAP this is very dangerous.
