Tl-the contact owns a 1998 Jaguar x68. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds or as the vehicle is at a stand still the contact noticed the gears failed to engaged properly. As the fuel injector, power train, transmission faulty warning light illuminate the vehicle stalls. The vehicle was seen at the dealer brown's Jaguar 10505 midlothian tpke, richmond, va 23235 who was unable to diagnosed the vehicle and sent the contact to an independent mechanic, which informed the contact that it was the transmission module that failed and needed to be replaced. The transmision module was replaced. However, the failure recurred intermittently. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that 0 recalls was under the VIN. The contact mentioned NHTSA 06e043000(fuel system,gasoline). 99v138000 (power train) as a possible solution to the failure but the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage approximately 121,000. Ck.
