One problem related to door has been reported for the 1997 Jeep Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When unlocking the door with the key the door will unlock with the key turning to the unlocked position. But when lifting the handle, the door will not open. Repaired once and dealer cannot duplicate the problem.
