Fuel Injection problems of the 1997 Jeep Cherokee

Three problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 1997 Jeep Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Fuel Injection problem

Failure Date: 07/16/2003

The fuel gauge reads out false signal if the vehicle has a half of tank or 3/4 of tank, while turning left vehicle will lose power.

2 Fuel Injection problem

Braking system malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance which may result in a crash. Also problems with the fuel sendeing unit which won't read the fuel gauge properly. Please provide further information.

3 Fuel Injection problem

When driving at 65 mph and without prior warning vehicle cut off, causing loss of all power. Vehicle was taken to dealer, who later determined that cause was fuel gauge which malfunctioned. Fuel gauge malfunctioned, it failed to read the actual fuel reading. Please provide any further details.
