4 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem

Failure Date: 01/15/1999

While driving at 60 to 65 mph on wet pavement consumer saw smoke and pulled over. Popped the hood and saw fire coming from the engine. Fire department stated tthat he transmission line popped, causing oil to leak down on the engine and started a fire.

5 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem

Failure Date: 01/15/1999

Transmission line broke, causing the transmission fluid to leak onto engine, resulting in a fire.
