I will be going at any speed and my Jeep will just die or spit and sputter like its not getting gas then the rpm gauge drops to zero all the dash lights come on. This happens on the highway in the middle of intersection and it happens intermittenly so you never know when its going to happen. Took it to mechanic and they told me the valve body selnoid was bad. If you search any of this online you will see that there are several people with the same problem this needs to be a recall before someone ends up dead!!.
The contact owns a 2005 Jeep grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph, the entire instrument panel illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA campaign id number 13v175000 (electrical system, power train). The failure occurred thirty days after the remedy repair was performed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic twice and they stated that the transfer case actuator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 71,000.
My Jeep has constant flicker of dash lights and acting like it is gonna stall . Can't have radio on if lights are on or air if lights are on because I get the flicker and feeling of stalling. When I called dealership about this they told me they haven't been told about this problem. They told me to bring it in for a charge of 100. 00 $ and they would check it out. Really. . Its getting to be a piece of crap that we get blown off about this!.
