Tire problem #1

Tires show cracks in tread on all 4 tires. Appears to be dry rot cracking, this in 2 year old tires. Problem was first discovered when driver side front tire continued to loose air. Was advised by tire professionals that tires were not safe to use in highway driving conditions. Replaced the tires at my expense since continental will not warrant second owner of vehicle. Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee equipped with . Four sentury tire line: lionheart tire size 225/60/r17a and dot 1bfny12702 . The contact stated that while driving 60 mph passenger rear tire blew out however was able to pull off the road safely the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where informed the tire needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. He contact requested the tires be replaced with another brand. The manufacturer was not contacted. The tire mileage was 5,000. The failure mileage was approximately 86,500. The contact mentioned the tires were 18 years old. Ap.

Tire Sidewall problem #3

Three of the four tires on the vehicle are splitting on the sidewalk near the rim. The fourth tire is cracking in the same location. All tires are maintained at the correct tire pressure. There’s no reason this shouldn’t be covered but of course it isn’t. Guess someone has to die before firestone replaces defective tires.
