Radio/tape Cd Player problems of the 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Over the course of a year, my battery has died (oct), my harsh cold start needed replacement (Nov), my radio completely died and could not be updated (Dec) and recently within the past two months and by far the most concerning is that my Jeep will completely shut off while sitting at a red light or stopping for only a minute. This is not sue ro low oil or anything of my own doing. It will tell me to shift into park and then into gear. Yesterday was the most concerning as it completely shut down while I was in motion and nothing working, steering, lights nothing at all on the vehicle functioned. I was able to put it in park but my keys wouldn't even be released from the ignition. I had it towed to a dealer who then stated they can't find a code for a diagnostic, the oil is perfectly fine and that they can't do anything bc it could be anything. I have no doubt this is electrical in some way and a manufacturer defect of some kind as I have found 100s of other complaints of the same car and same engine type. It is dangerous that the manufacturer is not putting a recall on whatever is going on or at least trying to fix the problem. It seems all Jeeps are known for their electrical problems. I do not have the ability to trade this car in or get another one with my financial situation and my entire business is run off of me driving. I could've been killed as it died in the middle of the road in a blind curve where people fly through at over 55 mph. I had to have an officer come and sit behind me I was so scared as the car would do nothing at all!!!! I hope if this is happening to other people that their family is aware of the issues and knows to sue Chrysler for everything when an accident results in someone's death!!!.

While leaving my office and making a left hand turn the car completely stopped mid turn. There was no check engine light on, no battery light appeared and the dash ,radio and head lights were still on. A message appeared in my dash telling me to shift into park and then shift into the desired gear. I then put the car in park and tried to restart it 3 times before it started again. Now the car does this on several occasions after being told by a professional that they can't pin point the issue.

My radio doesn't get signal anywhere. I get one station and even it has static. It's not just in my hometown either. When I go on trips it is nothing but static and then you find a station every now and then. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it has done it the entire time since I bought it.

I bought my 2016 Jeep Cherokee limited new and for the first 100, 000 miles had no problem with it until one day I was driving down highway and my instrument cluster lit up like a christmas tree, the engine hit 5000 rpm at 45 mph and would red line if I went faster, I pulled over and could not shut vehicle off and radio, wipers and everything were going on their own including every warning light possible. After about 20 min idle I decided to disconnect the battery and reconnect and it started back up with engine light remaining on. I took to dealership they weren't sure why all codes were going off but checked and everything was fine and reset the light. A month later it happened again this time at 65mph during a snowfall on the highway but this time the steering wheel locked up I managed to brake and stop on highway with hazard lights on again disconnected battery and took to dealership, they said I needed to replace the computer so at a cost of nearly $2300 I did. No problems after that until it was raining one day and boom instrument panel lights up again, thankfully the steering wheel did not lock again. I take it back and they tell me there is nothing they can do about it but reset the light. Now I cant drive my Jeep when it rains for fear of more issues. Fast forward 3 months to today, I am about a mile from my home and the dash lights up saying service shifter required. And all the lights for p,r,n,d are all red, I tried to turn off and start again with no luck the lights and warning stays on, the digital speedometer wont come up because the warning is there and I cant cycle it off. I googled the problem and noticed a great deal many others having the same issues at all different miles. I dont know what else to do at this point. I believe just the steering wheel locking up alone should be warrant enough for a recall before someone is not as lucky as I was.

Over the last 2 weeks, while driving my Jeep has lost power. No warning light or anything, my Jeep just dies. It will say "shift into p, then select gear" after I have lost power. My lights/radio/bluetooth all still work, but I can not break nor accelerate nor steer. I was nearly t-boned this am, and nearly rear ended last week.

Water saturating floor and carpets under floor mats, passenger front and rear. May be the cause of intermitant door locks , and at time uconnect radio and climate control system restarts. First visit to dealer, dealer resealed/rewelded rocker panels and improperly sealed areas. Second vist dealer stated the leaking was a sun roof. However, vehicle doesn't have a sun roof. ? the dealer is unable to replicate water coming in from rain but has not checked ac condensation or other means of entry that we know of. Water does appear to show up faster during periods of hot eather and ac usage. Please note - I have pictures of mold growing rapidly on the carpet under the floor mats.
