I have a 2007 Jeep Commander, and I have had it in to the dealer about 3 or 4 times now over stalling issues. The first time the dealer thought it was an issue with the map sensor, well it stalled out the like 1-2 days later. Then they though it needed a transmission software update. Just the other day my family and I were coming home from my inlaws and it stalled again and this time in the middle of a busy inter section and I was so mad. I finally pushed the truck to the side of the road and could not start it, it took about 1/2 of an hour to start it and holding down the gas peddle. Well off to the dealer again. I got a call the morning of 10/14/2008 and they think its the fuel pump now, come on it has only 14k miles on it and we bought it brand new last November and all of this started happening at the begging of September. I want Jeep to take this pc of crap back and stop making the truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Driving on hwy 51 in tulsa. My 2008 Jeep Commander stalled at 55-60 mph. Coasted to an off ramp, put in park and it restarted. I called the dealership in broken arrow, ok. The service department told me I have to have a code reading before they can do anything, and because it was the first time it may not produce a code, if so, they could do nothing and good luck. I bought this car new and it has only 2000 miles.
