Frame Rust problems of the 2010 Jeep Compass

My 2010 Jeep Compass was taken in for an inspection today. It failed for lower front subframe being totally rusted out. This is unacceptable for a 10 year old vehicle and very unsafe!.

Rusted subframe. Recalled in some states considered salt belt states but not nebraska, why not? this is horrible. Nothing else is so rusty it is crumbling like the subframe.

I've owned a 2010 Jeep Compass for two years now. I use it as a work vehicle. Recently it started making a very rough sounding noise going down the road. It would be deep and disgruntled and then high pitched almost whistling. I took it to a mechanic and they said the front subframe is rusted so bad it's unsafe to drive. So I started looking into the issue online and there are dozens and dozens of other Jeep owners complaining about the same issue with their Jeeps. And to make it all worse Jeep seems to want to do nothing about it. It's unsafe and it's going to get someone severely hurt or killed.

I took my wifes 2010 Jeep Compass to the garage for inspection and the mechanic told me that the front subframe is rusted through so badly that he can fit his fist through one of the holes. I contacted Jeep multiple times and they refuse to talk to me about this safety issue. The vehicle is only 7 years old, complete rusting through should not be happening.
