Tl the contact owns a 2010 Jeep Compass. After fueling the vehicle, it sputtered and stalled. The vehicle was able to restart and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the intake manifold sensor actuator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 102,000.
