Two problems related to check engine light on have been reported for the 2011 Jeep Compass. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Jeep Compass 4x4. The contact stated the check engine light was illuminated on and off for several months. The vehicle was taken to a dealer (diehl Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram fuso of moon 5408 university blvd, moon, PA 15108) for diagnosis and repairs. The diagnosis was a replacement 02-03 sensor however the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer and was rediagnosed with a Cadillac converter failure the vehicle is in the process of getting repaired. The manufacturer was notified about the failure but offered no remedy. The approximate failure was 150,000 tp.
Tl- the contact owns a Jeep Compass 2011. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph the vehicle stalled without warning. After the stall the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel and went back to its normal function. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician diagnosed the crank shaft positioning senor needed to be repaired. No repairs were made to the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 52,000 and the current mileage 52,800. The VIN was not available. Sr.
