One problem related to automatic transmission control module has been reported for the 2014 Jeep Compass. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Code u0401. Ecm/pcm. Check engine light, esc light, and ecm lights came on while driving, Jeep lost acceleration, and knocked when we came to a stop. Incident hastened on a local road while moving at 45 mph. Turned off vehicle and restarted. Problem persisted and we had the vehicle towed home.
