general problems of the 2017 Jeep Compass

I got my 2017 Jeep Compass in 2018 had no issues truly until about a year ago. The check engine light came on and it would jerk a little goin up hill well got a coder and it said O2 so I changed all the spark plugs and O2 and it still is on now the thunder bolt light flashes I loose power and the yellow skid mark comes on I have to turn car off let it reprogram like 10 min and it acts ok for a few min now it's so bad it won't even go 10 miles . I'm goin to have the throttle and sensor changed hopefully that fixes it.

My vehicle went from not being able to control acceleration or accelerate and making a strange sound while in motion while the rpm was steady going up, to not accelerating at all while in motion, to not shifting gears, to not doing anything in less than 24 hours. I was on the highway when I first noticed all of the problems. I had to pull on side of the road multiple times. It was scary and dangerous being on side of the road as a woman at night with very little lighting in the area. When the vehicle didn't want to do anything at all it was parked.

Transmission shifts back n forth very bad. Only 71,649 miles. Need to fix it. Please.

The car engine stopped running as I was driving down the street my car stalled and I couldn't steer or control the speed or motion of the car.

As I was driving on an 8 lane expressway my vehicle experienced an engine stall while driving. I immeditaely tunred on my hazard lights to alert other drivers and crossed 7 lanes to come to a complete stop as I could no longer accelerate. I turned off my vehicle, turned to the on position to allow all dahsboard lights to turn off and then off. I turned my vehicle back on and continued to drive to my desitnation but this time when it happened I just was going up a hill, cars in front and behind me I was right in the middle of the intersection with another engine stall while driving. I need to be added to the manufactures list of the know defect of their voluntary recall they initatiated. My car is not safe to drive and becuase this is intermittent I can not recreate this issue at the dealership. I am not on the list of a recall even though I am having engine stalls while driving.

Tl-the contact owns a 2017 Jeep Compass. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at 50 mph, the vehicle sputtered and shutoff. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram fiat manhattan, 678 11th Ave, new york, NY 10019, (212) 549-2208 to be diagnosed. The mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and notified of the failure. The case number: 52481054. The approximate failure mileage was 6000. Ah.

I was on hwy going speed limit and the car in front stopped really fast and I put on my brakes and the engine got more power like the gas paddle was stuck I could not stop I had to go down the shoulder about a mile before the truck would stop and I was pushing down on the brake the whole time.
