Air Brake Antilock problems of the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Two problems related to air brake antilock have been reported for the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Air Brake Antilock problem

Failure Date: 01/29/2003

Problems with the abs system. The vehicle to was in a collision and none of the air bags deployed. Dealer was not contacted at the time of the call. Ph.

2 Air Brake Antilock problem

At speeds above 50 mph, when the brakes are applied, the steering starts to shake violently and the brakes are slow to work. I reported this problem to the dealer. They look at the problem and found that the front and rear brakes (rotors) were warped. They tried to grind the original ones. That did not help the problem at all. Now they are going to try and replace the front and rear rotors. I hope this works. I paid almost $30,000 for this vehicle and I feel ripped off. Not to mention all the time I have to take off work to go to the dealer to fix these problmes.
