The contact owns a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The air bag warning light illuminated intermittently and was followed by a beeping sound. When the dealer was notified concerning NHTSA campaign id number 00v105000 (air bags), the contact was informed that his VIN was not included in the recall. The air bag light illuminated intermittently while driving. Dealer was notified. Although there was a recall concerning the clock spring dealer informed the consumer that his vehicle was not covered under the recall due to VIN.
