1 Transmission Gear Slipping problem

Failure Date: 06/16/2005

The engine light came on. The consumer took the vehicle to a transmission shop. They said there were few problems with it from the manufacturer. Took to a transmission shop because the owners manual said that it could be from transmission slipping. The original parts on the transmission were replaced due to failure.

2 Transmission Gear Slipping problem

Failure Date: 04/12/2001

Sudden, violent jerking and transmission slippage while slowing down for stop or yield. Resulting motion is strong enough to cause seat belt locks to activate and jolt the occupants. Problem is highly sporadic and no "cause and effect" has been discernable.
