Airbag light has stayed on even after a battery replacement. Check engine light now stays on for no apparent reason. That’s all, thanks.
I started my Jeep, noticed my hatch was not closed, got out while it was running, the second I closed my driver door, my Jeep went into reverse on its own, and kept accelerating higher, this vehicle took off very aggressively, luckily my wife was in the passenger seat, she put it in natural, and shut the car off before anything was struck, now due to I believe the rapid acceleration it runs horribly when I put it in drive. This Jeep is an 2003 , well broke in and maintained, there's no other reason as to why it "became self aware" I have a lot of vehicle knowledge and this is virtually and unfathomably impossible , please review every aspect of this vehicles complaints as this is very unsafe.

I was traveling on a side street in huntington, wv about 30 mph when all of a sudden the motor shutdown everything shutdown and I tried to move the Jeep out of the line of traffic. This is very difficult since there was no power to the vehicle. I was headed toward I-64 on the on ramp when all of a sudden it happen again. Car were coming toward me and with much difficulty I manage to get it partially out of the road. I finally got it started back up and it happened on two other occasions. I am afraid to drive my Jeep. I need help in knowing what to do. Autozone put the instrument to help diagnose the problem and check indicated the battery is good. What should I do?.
When driving down the highway at speed the engine stopped working along with auxiliary systems such as power brakes and steering. The tachometer slowed to 0 rpm and we were able to pull car off the side of road. Upon stopping, the car restarted and no odb codes were identified. This occurs randomly through has a tendency on cold starts after vehicle has been sitting for while. Since loss of all power it is a tremendous safety hazard.
I was driving about 40 mph on a four lane highway in traffic when my car engine suddenly shut off. The brakes seized up, but I was able to get the car was able to get the car off on the shoulder. After trying several time to restart the car, I called for assistance. By the time assistance arrived, I was able to start the car and I drove it approximately five mile to my Jeep dealer. They found that the crank sensor was faulty and that was why the engine had shut down. The cost to replace the sensor was $275; however, because shutting down the engine caused the breaks to seize up, the breaks and calipers had to be replaced increasing the total cost of repairs to $1567. If I had been driving at highway speed when this occurred I would probably not be writing this letter.

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Consumer states major problems with engine and blown head gasket.
While stopped at a traffic light my Jeep started to accelerate and, even with the brake pedal fully depressed, surged forward. This has happened numerous times in the past week both at traffic lights and at stop signs, always while stopped. The rpms have increased to between 1,500 and 4,500. The Jeep dealer attempted to fix it on Tuesday, however the problem re-occurred on my way home and again with a mechanic in the vehicle when I brought it back. To date, the car is still at the dealer and has not been fixed.

I took my vehicle in for the routine oil change at the dealership I purchase the vehicle. After that day, the vehicle vibrates to the point you cannot play a cd. They are telling me this is how the vehicle performs. I have been to the dealership many times with the same response. I also have taken it to other Chrysler dealership with the same answer, it seems that the answer is the same after they look at the repair history. I also have met with the Chrysler marketing rep twice, and the dealership told me that the Chrysler technical rep drove the vehicle. Yet when I requested a encounter with him they declaim and said there is no technical rep. I also met with the general manager from the dealership twice, sales manager many times, I need this to be look into because I think my vehicle was tampered with, because if it was running like this when I bought it I would have not bought it. The vibration is getting worst. I do have a extended warranty, that I cannot use because they refuse to even look at the vehicle. Their solution was to sell me another vehicle, which I declined because they wanted more money down. Why should I buy another vehicle when I have a new one that they destroyed.
