On this vehicle both front eat seatbelt receivers are faulty. This was not caused by an accident or excessive wear of the seatbelts. When you push the seatbelt into the receiver, it will not accept the seatbelt without first pushing down on the seatbelt button. Additionally, the vehicle does not recognize when the seatbelts are in use and the light on the dash stays on regardless. This issue started some time ago, however, more recently (past 3 weeks) the airbag light started coming on intermittently. I took the vehicle to a shop (not a dealer) and they diagnosed the airbag light as being caused by the driver's side seatbelt retractor spring malfunction. They were unable to repair and directed me to a dealer. Upon contacting the dealer they are only offering replacement of the seatbelts faulty seatbelts as customers expense. I have contacted Dodge customer service and asked what assistance they my provide. That issues is currently open under case number 89679478.

Car is currently parked: I own a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee larado which Jeep claims has no recalls yet there (3) all of which are happening to my vehicle. Nhtsa 07v434000, 13v175000 and 14v438000. My car is very well maintained I have reached out to Jeep and claim my truck was not recalled yet my truck is listed as having (6) recalls all of which are issues the truck is currently having. I have computer codes to prove it. I understand my truck have 150,000 miles and is 16 almost 17 years old however it was bought as an investment that Jeep seems to selectively correct issues only when they are threatened to be sued. This is totally ridiculous. There are multiple complaints from other owners. These things should have been recalled years ago. My vehicle has never been modified and we should not have to be responsible for recalls that are selectively being fixed when there are over 6000 complaints. Thank you.

I got in a head on collision on July 11 in the city of paramount . I was at a red light making a left as soon as it turn green I went into motion lost control making a wide left turn and went into the side walk. I hit a cement trash can and a cement wall as well none of my air bags came out . Both insurance and the body shop where the Jeep is now stated that it was odd the air bags didn't come out . They stated that the hit was big and the bags should have came out . I hit front on my whole front end was damaged bumper, lights , grill . I hit my face in the steering wheel causing my lip to bust open and I hit my head as well in the top left side handle. My insurance noted that the vehicle is a total loss due to frame damage . I didn't go to the hospital because of the max capacity so I've been taking over the counter pills for my back , head and shoulder pain I also been seen a naturalist for my muscle spasms.

Takata recall. My car was in a wreck this pass September 17 and the air bags got deployed. My mother in law was injured in her head and it look like the bags through some sort of metal with white powder. I have no clue if this was normal . But my car smelled like burned . . I has gone to geep in 2015 to get engine tune up. And I asked about takata recall and they told me they were working on it . And the would call me back . Well they never did. Now that my car suffered this horrible accident I want to know why they never did what they were supposed to do. The accident happen at an intersection my car was turning on a green light and another vehicle runed over a red light and hit us. My air bags diploid and that's wen I saw this weird smell and still feel like I have something in eyes. I want to know what I have to after this and what steps to take .

Recall p41- having symptoms as described in recall , loss of power steering , braking and engine power on 3 occasions, while traveling a slow speed approx 20mph and turning on city street. . Local dealership has a waiting list of 4 months to fix problem.

Received the recall notice and contacted porterville Chrysler. Despite the recall notice about increased risk of occupant injury as well as the potential to cause a collision without warning, they said they had no parts to replace the ones causing the issue, and they had no idea when they would. They claim to have had parts on order for over a year but none have been received and that they could not help me out by complying with the recall notice.

On July 18 2014 recall # p41 was issued by Chrysler corp. They have, as yet no solution for this issue. It has been almost a year and no solution in sight. Who in their right mind issues a recall without a solution? I need this recall completed so I can get it licensed. I need the nhtsb to insist that Chrysler live up to it's claim that safety is of paramount importance. Either abandon this recall or fix the problem.

I was in a car accident with frontal damage, more on the driver side, and the neither air bag deployed. Saw the recall on my VIN for possible malfuntioning of the air bag unit. I was traveling about 40 mph and hit a uhaul truck that was making an illegal u turn.

"takata recall" I was involved in a side impact auto accident, air bags never inflated and I was injured. I was driving as a motorist went thru a stop sign and push the Jeep into the other lane of traffic, I was going straight on a residential street.

Rear middle seat belt continually retracts too far and is inoperable - the system is interlocked with the airbag system making it difficult to repair safely. Seat is not usable and is unsafe. This also the only seat belt that can be used for child-safety seats.

The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, the lights on the gear shifter illuminated as the vehicle simultaneously decelerated and engaged into neutral independently. The contact had to shift from park to drive while the vehicle was in motion in order to resolve the failure momentarily. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The failure was not reported to the manufacturer. The contact also stated that the air bag warning lamp was illuminated. The approximate failure mileage was 130000.

I have wrecked this Jeep two times due to the brakes not functioning as the should in both instances the dash board lights and gauges all shut down prior too the accidents I have had numerous mechanics find nothing,problem still persists done all I can and I am basically going broke on a vehicle I still owe on. Can you please help before people start dying from unroadworthy vehicles.

If the keys in the ignition shake just slightly, all lights on dash flicker on/off, engine cuts out and comes back on. I've had a problem with this since I bought the vehicle in 12/08 and still happens. I can only have 1 car key in ignition so nothing happens but still does every so often.

Safety recall f39 on vehicle 6c357905. I have called and left messages over four weeks for the service team to schedule an appointment. No one returns my calls and when I call back, they send me right to the machine.
