Stopped at roadside stand. Tried to restart, no dashboard lights, no ignition all windows down inoperable, towed to Jeep dealer. It is a faulty wireless ignition code. The receiver in the system that checks for the correct key fob. This has the potential to put the occupants in a dangerous situation. It seems this is a nationwide problem, because the part may be in re-engineering and won't be available for 1- 2 months! one aftermarket supplier told me there are 300 of these parts on back order. Sound like a recall to me.
