Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Jeep cherokee. The contact received a notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v392000 ( suspension:rear:shock absorber). The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who inspected the vehicle in regards to the recall. The technician informed that both rear shocks would need to be replaced however, the parts needed were unavailable to service the vehicle under the recall. The dealer was unable to provide an expected date for the part to become available. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 200. Js.
