1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 10/27/2020

I was driving between 50 - 55 mph and without warning there was a really hard hit and loud noise that I thought may have been a blow out. It was daylight and no debris in the road that I hit to cause any damage. I had new tires that was approximately 5 months old and 44,000 miles on my vehicle. My insurance sent out people to look into the situation and it seems the right lower control arm and ball joint snapped which in turn cause the whole inside of my tire to be slashed.
