3 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2024

All-wheel drive is no longer working due to messages stating "service anti-lock brake system," "service air suspension immediately," and check engine light. All lights and cautionary messages came on at the exact same moment while coming out of park over a year ago. I have had the vehicle repaired twice, and the dealership says, "it is a wiring issue," but within a month after being repaired each time, the messages and issues begin happening again.

4 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 12/06/2023

1. At 63263 miles adas front parking sensor and at 96000 miles active park assist modules are failing with a pop up message asking for a service. The parts are working intermly but, I believe it could potentially mislead the driver when parking using active park assist and can cause and injury or damage if the safety system fails. It was inspected by a dealer before but exact diagonisis was not provided. 2. Air suspension system warning came up at around 96000 miles. I immediatly took it to a dealer who charged 1800+ dollars to inspect and replaced a valve block mentioning c1556 code and said the poblem was sorted. I checked my car and the system warning still exists. They took the car immediatly and kept for 4 days and mentioned the air compressor in air suspension could be weak and over heating causing it to fail. They mentioned there were no leaks on any air bags of the suspension and quoted a 3400$ additional cost of repair. I believe the inital diagonisis was incorrect or not up to the mark (the part is available for inspection) from the dearlership as there were no clear indication of what was the root cause. This suspension failure could cause the ride height to fail any time and can cause imbalance while stopping the vehicle at higher speeds as it has an aero mode. The air ride system is working intermily depending on the climatic conditions the components are malfunctioning which has to be addressed by the fca group.

5 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 02/17/2023

The electrical system per the on-dash guide shows a voltage of 13. 8 v or less than the 14. 2 v and when it is less than the 14. 2 v the car drives choppy, braking causes the car to jolt around even after brake work. The radiator was recently replaced and new hoses were replaced and it still has not been remedied after new brakes and new serpentine belt. The dealer did not clean all remaining radiator fluid that spilled in the bottom of the car, as the radiator had not completely been malfunctioning prior to arrival at dealer. This has probably caused some corrosion due to faulty manufacturing and use of subpar components to where this would become an issue. The air hoses continuously make noise as there is intermittent whirring. The electrical components of the car which I assume are manifested via the voltage regulator cause the adaptive cruise control/ auto stop-start to become 'unavailable' intermittently throughout driving the car. There have been recalls issued for other Jeep Grand Cherokees for the very same issues that my car is experiencing and I want this to be remedied and not at my expense.

6 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/04/2021

The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee trailhawk. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the structure underneath the driver side had collapsed and almost caused a collision. The contact felt the structure underneath the driver side was sinking when making turns. The contact attempted to contact the dealer but the dealer was not answering her calls. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 34,008.

7 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/21/2018

I was the first owner to my Jeep Grand Cherokee purchased in 2018. Within a few months I started getting a warning message to service the suspension system right away. The car would then get stuck in four wheel drive or other mode and would not rise or lower stating I needed to slow down (I was already driving below the speed limit) while on the highway in order to maintain proper height. I took it to the dealer several times in the USA and when I moved to germany with the army. Now I am back in the USA and my car is once again at the dealers with the same issue. After looking online it appears other Jeep owners have had the same issues. Is it possible to look into a recall for this model as this appears to be a widespread issue. This has been an ongoing issue since 2018.

8 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/16/2018

The air suspinsion has been actin up since I purchased it new in Feb 2018. It wasnt too bad so I just left it alone and didnt use it. Later it started flashing a warnning while driving at higway speed to "service air suspision immediatley. " the suspinsion went into "park/exit mode" and the truck dropped and it drove very rough. I trailered it to the dealership. They had it 3 weeks. It failed as soon as I left. Now it seems stuck in off road ii mode, but the rear is high and front is low. . . Its pitiful. I do love the Jeep, but this is getting aggrivating. I'm taking it back to another dealership and hopefully it will be ready fro me to travel for christamas.

9 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 10/18/2018

'service air suspension immediately' is the warning on my Jeep and many peoples Jeeps since 2015. This issue is a constant problem and Chrysler has no answer. Where is the recall?.

10 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/05/2018

Every time the vehicle proceeds over a speed bump or a dip in the road, it feels as if something is lose and banging in the steering and suspension of the vehicle. I have taken it to the dealer on numerous occasions, and they say they can never find anything wrong nor duplicate the issue. I’m concerned that at some point something may fail and I may lose control of the vehicle.

11 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 12/15/2015

The front air springs, struts, and air suspension compressor failed. The dealer cannot get the right front air spring because it is backordered. It appears that 100% of these components fail creating demand that the manufacturer cannot keep up with. There should be a recall at this high failure rate on a component that makes the vehicle unsafe to drive per the warning on that dash.
