Other Fuel System problem #1

Cylinder head gasket(s) has a leak. It limited my ability to speed up and keep up with traffic in a timely manner, requiring me to put on hazards forcing others to navigate around me causing a backlog of traffic and other potential hazards. I have had inspected by two different auto repair shops and both came to the same conclusion, they have also told me that they have seen this issue on the same make and model of my car and other surrounding years of the same make and model quite a bit. Check engine light came on, and there was a sensor warning on the dash the day of the problem cropping up. Per the repair shops either this issue has been silently present in my car for some time or the leak in it is very aggressive due to the remaining volume of oil in my engine.

Other Fuel System problem #2

Fuel pump failed while in route. No check engine light or warning came on before. All systems of the vehicle shut down. Entire family was put in severe danger as the vehicle shut down on the highway. The vehicle was towed to a dealership in which they diagnosed that the fuel pump had failed.

Other Fuel System problem #3

Car makes loud humming noise when accelerating and safety break go off for no reason when backing up or parking . I try put gas’s but it doesn’t let me keep the nozzle in . Gas’s light always going off.

Other Fuel System problem #4

While in drive, accelerating from a complete stop the car will lag as if the engine is going to shut off. Additionally, the car will be at a stop and driver will attempt to accelerate and car will not recognize it is in drive. The car will notify the driver on the dash to shift the car into park.

Other Fuel System problem #5

My car has a check engine light for a code that’s a “small evap leak”. It appears this is the same as the communication that was issued “manufacturer communication NHTSA id number: 10169219 witech small leak verification test (slvt) - p0456-evap system small leak”, however my vehicle is not included in this issue.

Other Fuel System problem #6

My vehicle stop running at the light. I got it started again and turned left and it died about a block from the light. Then it would not start. Hard it towed home and the rear wheels locked up when they tried to dropped the car off in the drive way. Could not take it out of gear. The next day it started up and was able to move it. Made an appoint to have it checked our four days later and it would not start. Took it to the shop and they could not move it off the back of the flatbed. Brought it back home. Then the batteries died. Tried to jump start. , almost. When it did I took it out of park. But then it was dead. Nothing. Had it towed to the Jeep dealer in marshal, mi. They said both batteries where totally no good. They replaced the batteries and found out the fuel pump was burn or shorted out and had to be replaced. They do not know why this would happen or they just would not say. The vehicle only has 78000 miles.

Other Fuel System problem #7

Small evap leak code has been on my car for almost 12 months. Jeep dealer is not able to identify a fix because the code is so broad and could be triggered by many different issues. Check engine light cannot be cleared due to evap leak.
