The failure also caused the back over prevention camera to become inoperable. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer on several occasions; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.
