This is a new 2023 grand Jeep wagoneer series iii l with an inline six ho engine that seats eight passengers. After about 500 miles or less, we noticed the vehicle shaking at highway speeds. Since it has only worsened, it has been to the dealership four times for a fix, without a solution. They exchanged the pirelli tires for a michelin, which did not fix this vibration error. While at highway speeds, everything shakes; the front headrest visibility shakes a lot, and the water in water bottles in the center console has a funnel effect, which clearly shows it’s a vibration issue, not a bumpy road issue, also, while seated, the floorboard and the seats, motorist, and passenger you can noticeably feel the vehicle shaking; at one point, my wife started to feel sick. As a result, now she only rides in the back seat. This ultra-luxury vehicle has an intense vibration issue while at highway speeds; the roads are smooth, and we tested it across three states while doing a family trip; it's clearly something with the engine mounts, suspension, or a drive shaft that is not well balanced. The dealership told us that they could not do anything because they did not know how to fix it as they drove other vehicles, and some shook too, even worse at around 40mph. They stated this is normal for the vehicle. Well, it’s not normal for a vehicle, but it might be for this model because of poor engineering or qa parts issues. Either way, my vehicle is not safe to drive; with this vibration only getting worse, I fear it will cause a serious accident or damage the vehicle, shortening its life span, and at 120k, this should not be the case. We want what we paid for and want this issue fixed ASAP.

When driving my vehicle, the engine seems to be stalling as a switching from one gear to the other jolts. The engine is slow in responding to speeding up. I feel unsafe specially when attempting to go on the freeway because the car seems to momentarily stop and between switching gears. I called the dealership where I purchased the car and they said that there is no recall for a similar experience of the problem. I called and they said that they would not be able to look at it for a few weeks, and that I was not able to book an appointment and that I would need to drop it off and it would take them approximately about three weeks to look at it and I was not able to get a loaner vehicle from them during that time.

The vehicle had a recalled for the rear coil springs, took it in for inspection and they gave me a paper at the dealership saying it was placed correctly. After we took it for the inspection my family and I took a trip 6 hours away from home, 15 minutes to getting to our destination the right rear spring detached from the vehicle while driving 45 mph. When the incident happened we all screamed because the vehicle went side to side and got scared even our dog got scared since he was in his kennel at the back of the SUV. I’m so thankful nothing happened to us because if my husband would’ve been driving above 60mph we could’ve flipped and got injured. We drove it to the nearest Jeep dealership there was and left our vehicle there to get it fix. We are 6 hours away from where our SUV is at, I’m scared to drive it back home and the same thing happens. I don’t feel safe driving that vehicle.

No warning lights have come on. Two different dealerships have worked on this car 10 different times over the course of a year. In November, 2023 I sent a certified letter to Jeep with my concerns and I also contacted Chrysler board of arbitration by phone (# given to me by ohio attorney generals office) on 12/1/23, 12/4/23, 12/5/23 and left messages each time. I never received a call back about my messages so I got an attorney in December 2023 for the rattling noise my car has made almost the entire time ive had it. -bought in may, 2023 -heard the noise and put it in the shop for a pre-vacation inspection to fix what was going on before me, my 2 small kids, and my husband drove to florida. Seemed weird to have such a new car in the shop already with noise safety concerns. -been back and forth to dealerships more times than I should have to. . . A couple times theyve had my car for 3 weeks at a time. Everytime I have to unload/load carseats when I drop off and then unload/load back up when I get my car only to find it hasnt been fixed. -my attorney acts like he is at the complete mercy of the manufacturer for a resolution and this lemon case has gone on for 9 months now. -I need a safe, reliable car and for this process to be resolved in a more timely matter. I am currently at a Jeep dealership now becasue again, I will be traveling this weekend with my kids in the car even though I am uneasy about doing so but I cant stop living but it seems unfair and like no one cares that we are driving around in a car that no one can fix or that I paid a lot of money for a reallllly noisey car that I have to take back and forth to the shop a million times and worry and stress about if it going to cause a crash while im driving down the highway.
Took my car in for a recall in June 2023 and as of January of 2024, the dealer has still failed to fix the issue.

It might be comparable to the Jeep recall that is now in effect, except it might be in the front. The noise is coming from the front driver's side and am experiencing the exact same problem. Every time I reverse, do a three-point turn, drive straight, or make a left or right turn. My Jeep produces a cracking sound as though it's ready to break. In addition to hearing it, I can feel it on my feet and steering wheel. I don't feel protected and I do have 2 little girls. When I took it to the dealership, they weren't sure if it was covered by the recall or if it was something else entirely. I drive no faster than 40 to 45 mph out of fear of colliding with someone not drive on the highway.
The brand new car, not even a month in use, turned itself off in the road. Gave several error message. I turned back on and drive several miles again when it turned it self off again, showing the same error messages. A towing truck took it to the dealership miami lakes automall on Wednesday 5/26 no body in service department answers my calls to give me information on my car.
While driving down a two lane highway suddenly a large boom occurred. I stopped in the road as I thought I blew a tire. Rather it was the right rear coil spring that popped suddenly and broke off the vehicle. The coil hung behind the tire and wedged with the bumper. Back wheel was unable to move. This occurred on the right rear passenger side. The whole vehicle dipped and dropped down. Because of where the spring was I had to have the car towed. Car is 5 months old. We do not take off road.
1-powertrain wobbles and vibrates at 70mph / safety issue and can cause shaft failure/accident due to a weak/worn-out mounts and cause the drive to loose control. 2- control arms/ball joints defects at factory - going thru bumps the front-end will produce noise and vehicle will shift/skip-jump of the pavement. Safety hazard and can/will cause driver to loose control.
There is extreme vibration in this vehicle and it gets worse daily. I believe there is something terribly wrong with this Jeep and it's not due to poor alignment. I also experience very hard / stiff bounce back when on bumpy roads. Something that should not be so bad with this type of Jeep. I recently met a woman with a 2022 Grand Cherokee summit reserve who said she is experiencing the same exact things. I don't think this is a coincidence.
I was driving approximately 25-30mph when the passenger rear spring popped off of the vehicle and was completely disengaged from the vehicle. It popped out of the rear of the vehicle into cars behind me. There were no warning lights, no messages, lights, etc. . . This happened at approximately 4pm 2/21/23. Two components, the spring, and a round plastic piece were retrieved and saved. Vehicle was taken to a dealership as it has less than 7k miles on it. Dealership has not responded or inspected yet. Insurance was notified. I have a rear mounted camera in the vehicle that captured the exact moment of failure and can share that video as well. Dealership was given the video as well.
The quadra-lift air suspension has failed twice while being driven and once during repairs. I have less than 1000 miles on the vehicle and it has spent more time in the shop than on the road. The system has been inspected and worked on by covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep and caliber collision in austin, TX. Usaa insurance inspected photos only. There was no prior warning light, only a warning notice light after the system failed.
