I was driving on the interstate when all service light came on and steering wheel locked up and the car began to power down. I almost crashed into a 18 wheeler because the steering wheel would not turn properly. I was able to pull over and the car would not move, switch gears, stop or start. My vehicle was serviced by Jeep twice in the past two weeks.
The key fob gets stuck in the ignition when the vehicle is turned off and put in park. If you shake the shifter when it's in park with your foot on the brake and the key turned to as far as it will go before turning the car on it will usually come out after a few attempts and cycles of this process. Yesterday, for the first time, it was locked in the ignition and wouldn't turn the vehicle on. I don't know that this sensor issue is related, but the tire pressure sensor is always on even when the tire pressure is filled to recommended levels.

Two days later it went dead while a way driving on a highway. That has happens over 6 times! we refuted paying that bill with dealer in mountain home arkansas. Car has been in my garage since that time. This has been reported to the dealer service department in mountain home and they have not responded with a plan to fix this extreme danger. Vehicle was in motion all of these times on a curving highway in hills and winding road. I am totally frightened to drive it and Jeep doesn't seem to care. I need help in resolving this.

Automatic shut off was engaged at a red light. Red light turned green in which I put my foot on gas to accelerate. Vehicle would not move and message appeared on dash to shift vehicle into park. I shifted the vehicle into park when the vehicle became locked in park and would not shift gears. Engine completely shut off and would not re start, leaving my stranded in the middle of the road. After sitting in the road for about 15 minutes and multiple attempts to re start, the vehicle finally re started. I took the vehicle into the shop to get looked at, no codes are showing on the computer and issue could not be re duplicated. I have seen similar issues have been happening to others. I called Jeep corporate where the gentleman told me to record exactly what happens next time as it's happening. That's a wonderful suggestion and all by my biggest concern when this happens is to get out of the road and not video what is happening, terrible customer service! I am scared to drive this vehicle for fear of it happening again and potentially causing an accident.
On may 3rd 2020 driving on highway the accelerator sensor went off. Heard a loud pop. Vehicle lost power and speed declined from 55 to 30. I floored it and the car would not reach speed of 55 mph. I had no cell service and was 45 miles from even a town. Limped the car to dealer and left there. This is the 3rd time this has happened and the dealer tells me they can't get it to repeat. Vehicle is currently at the dealership. I have called and left a message and have heard nothing.

I've tried passing smog now for 5 months and I keep gettting ob11 not ready. I've had my car looked at and serviced by two mech to run diagnostics - nothing comes up. I take meticulous care and have full records of my service records. I'm at a loss and although I've paid my registration - I cannot get current tags. I don't know what to do.

My electronic stability control turned off and won't turn on, my fcw front collision warning is off a won't turn on but the sensors in the front work fine and detect objects near the bumper.
I was stopped at a stop light on a busy 4 lane highway when my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee stalled and would not re-start. The engine light came on, I could not push the break pedal in. I called u-connect roadside and they sent a tow truck.
Vehicle with 50,000 miles was stopped at red light after exiting the interstate, check engine light came on, continued to drive then warning sounds and dashboard lights started flickering and almost every service alarm came on, service abs, service stability system, service shifter, then engine had a drag noise as if in lower gear. I stopped and attempted to place in park but could not shift into park. . I killed the engine, placed in park and restarted and continued with the low drag noise and dashboard continued to flicker and car felt as though it would stall, when arrived to parking lot, could not shift into reverse. This is very dangerous as I felt vehicle would lurch forward and I had notcontrol.
Vehicle at day one of purchase shows a acc/fcw radar sensor warning and company is well aware of many of these cars showing the same issues, yet cares notto do anything about the issue being raised. . .
Vehicle was stationary.

"so now im and hour away with no way to work and no way to get Jeep to rapid because of first tow bill. . The malfunctioning part has been recalled on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Electrical stops working, software malfunctions of computer. Shuts off or shows service for 911 phone. Power steering doesn't work and brakes are hard and flutter.
My Jeep started with an error service shifter on the control panel shortly after that all the codes started popping up. Steering wheel, tire pressure, etc. I took it to the dealership they have replaced the body control module but unfortunately the codes have not cleared. I've had this vehicle for only two years the service department at the dealership can not pinpoint the problem on it.
About two months ago my suspension started to act up. Now my suspension is stuck completely at the lowest point. The engine has a ticking sound and now it doesnt run right.
My car is keep acting in very weird way,, but last time make me very very fear to drive it. And I face this situation many time this year, the problem is appears few times and I send it for fixing but still no one found the exact reason of the problem, still I am facing this problem every around 3 weeks. I am so terrified to drive my Jeep. I love it so much & have it for 4 years but this year I start to have a very serious issues with my car. The problem 1) when I am driving in the high way suddenly my car switched off and on again without any reason. ( this happens many times) 2) my seat is going forward and back word suddenly ( happens twice) 3) the 2 sided mirrors on the right and left closing ad opening suddenly when I am driving. ( happens 3 times) 4) the light at night closing or become very low for few minutes while driving. (happens twice). Those problems comes and disappears suddenly and when I send my car for fixing they mention another issues which I always pay for it. . But I have only those problems that appears repeatedly and suddenly. Please note this happens only while driving. Please please advice me.

While slowing down to make sharp turns the vehicle will spontaneously shut off causing the power steering and breaking to not work. There are no error codes that come up and the radio and air/heat continue to work. The only reason you know the car shut off is because the breaks and power steering won't work. This has happened multiple times but you can never recreate the problem on cue. It just happens randomly without warning. This has happened both coming off the highway ramp around a turn and on a normal back road street going around a turn. The last time this happened was 11-13-2019.
Coming out of a tunnel, wet surface, slight turn, and the automatic braking system known as traction control locked brakes and steering up on it's own causing car to hydro plane into a curb and a wall. I had no control but if I did I could have controlled the car and prevent the crash.
While driving donw a main road the gas pedal suddenly stopped working and would not engage. I could not get the car to move forward but it was still running. I pulled the vehicle over to stop and turn the car off. Turned the vehicle back on to see if the gas pedal would re-engage, I was able to drive 100ft and it happened again. I then "rolled" into an empty lot on the side of the road where smoke was noticed coming out of the hood. I popped the hood but did not open it and called 911. While on the phone with 911, a loud pop was heard under the hood, sparks were seen and the car caught fire.
The transmission would disengage when driving in the mountains causing sever deceleration almost killed me in traffic. The suspensions front and rear are absolutely horrendous. Suspensions makes loud screeching noises. Rear suspension is almost non existent. Rear suspension bounces sideways or rolls more sideways while driving over bumps on highway. Steering is loose. And electrion control issues as well.
At random times while driving, while in park, and just after startup, all dashboard gauges, lights, and power goes out, headlights turn off, but the engine still runs. I cannot see what is in front of me at night, I cannot tell my speed, I cannot see my fuel level, etc. The outage lasts from 2-30 seconds before every single warning light will illuminate for a few seconds, or flicker on and off, and then return to normal. I replaced the ignition 2 years ago from a previous recall notice. This is extremely dangerous because I never know when it will happen, it could happen at night on a heavily trafficked street and I lose all power and lights!.
While driving on the roadway and highway my vehicle will randomly kick itself into neutral and will kill the engine with no sudden warning and or warning lights that there is a problem. The battery will remain on but the engine is off. This has happened on 3 separate occasions since I purchased the vehicle in 2015 more recently this issue began in 2019. After attempting to restart the vehicle it will attempt to turn over the engine but will not start, leaving me stranded in the middle the the roadway. 50/50% chance the engine light will turn on and unknown error. The only way I have been able to move the vehicle is to remove the battery cable and let it sit for 30 minutes resetting the electrical system. Though this is a short term fix. I have contacted multiple Jeep dealers in the area and everyone I have talked to has advised me they have never seen or heard of this problem. This is a safety concern loosing all power to my vehicle while driving on the roadway and highway. I fear that this will cause a greater problem to myself and the public if the issue is not fixed. I can see a catastrophe if the problem is not fixed. I took my vehicle into a Jeep dealership to have the electrics recall problem fixed a few years ago when I was advised from Jeep unknown exact date. This is a liability and lives will be hurt including myself if this problem is overseen.
