I pulled out of my driveway, turned the corner and my Jeep completely shut down as I was driving. The message that came up told me to service my 4 wheel drive and every light on my dash lit up like a christmas tree. It would not start or do anything. Had to have it towed back to my house and am now having to tow it to a dealer.

On September 9 I was driving back from my grand daughter school and as I was pulling on my street, the Jeep shut off without warning. I had no check engine light on or any type of warnings. I had to coast into my driveway. It doesn't start at all. It had an oil change and fluids in Jeep. It did it without warning.

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, when she she depressed the accelerator pedal and the vehicle deceased the speed. The contact stated she then depressed the brake pedal and the vehicle hesitation forcefully forward. Vehicle experiences random illumination of multiple instrument cluster warning lights, loss of cluster illumination, loss of speed display, and loss of abs and esc system functions. Sometimes vehicle shifts into 3rd gear, and does not respond to shift commands. This occurs randomly, sometimes right after start-up, sometimes after a few minutes of driving.

Service 4wd illuminated on the dash. Traction control and abs lights lit up and cruise control disengaged while going down the road. The vehicle is now in the shop for an expected abs module failure.

My 2018 jcg altitude edition with 16000 miles has been having issues with radio and navigation. Cjdr replaced stereo system which fixed the navigation issue but now radio turns up and down on own. Took car in today and there is no fix. They told me when it occurs to turn my car off and then back on which will help it temporarily. The period of which it will help is less than 1 minute before it repeats the volume issue. However this is not acceptable. Vehicle has been shifting very hard and lunging forward without foot on gas, they �re-flashed� my Jeep twice. Saying my car needed to relearn my driving. I was told by my service technician that he would call when they had some solution.

The auto start/stop feature does not properly function causing the car to shut off when we're at a full stop. I have to switch gear to park then re-start the car. The hood sensor doesn't register even if it's completely closed . The warning light on the dashboard will say it's open even when it's not.

Electrical stability control does not work properly it sways from and rear. Mainly when it rains. Electrical system a problem between signal lights and the radio, when the signals are use the radio goes off??? lift suspension system operate by itself, up and down on his own, and that problem prevents for the SUV to be aligned; also there is a shaking on stearing wheel when above 55mph. I don't know if this unit was taken for service on any other subject like; air bags, stearing components, front suspension or any other campaign of recalls. About three days ago the light came on and I ran a code end it say it 4 wheel dr. System service got it dynastic but it didn't go off been having trouble been having trouble with this Jeep since I bought it into thousand 17 I think they sold me a lemon.

Check engine light would come on intermittently the last 5 months. Took to the dealership and auto zone for a code reader a few times and they were unable to pinpoint the exact problem because the engine light would disappear or multiple codes would appear. The vehicle would at times seem to lose power especially going up hill whether it was on a city street or highway. I finally was able to get a true diagnostic test done on 6/15/19 when the engine light was still showing on my dashboard. They code reader gave p0128 so I ended up having to get my thermostat gauge replaced and total repairs with diagnostic were $309. 15. I found it frustrating and unsafe that for 5 months the engine light would intermittently appear. After a trip out of town and drove a total of close to 1200 miles, the light stayed on. At this point, it is when I decided to take it in to the dealership before the engine light disappeared. I also noticed that the seatbelt warning light would not always alert if a passenger did not have theirs on. I tried to go back and select the seatbelt problem selection, but it would not allow me to.

While driving the car with 750 miles the electronic stability control, abs, check engine, brake service antilock brake system lights all come on. While driving noticed car wasnt tracking miles then died on the interstate at approximately 70 miles per hour.

"takata recall" to be truthfully honest nothing about this Jeep is safe I didn't know that I could put in a recall for this Jeep because I thought it was too old and too late anyway sensors are horrible no turning signals , my belt assembly breaks a part while driving radiator gets really hot to the point of smoking even when my coolant is full I have sun roof problems because water leaks through it and floods the driver and passenger side trunk will not open my suspension is in great need of help it doesn't even bounce , alot of safety problems but like I said didn't know I could for file for a recall so I'm hoping that this can get recalled.

Dashboard lights and alarms simultaneously blink on and off. Seems to be a short circuit in the wiring. Gas tank levels off at "empty", and the fuel gauge spins 180 degrees so that it is caught under the "resting stick" at 0, therefore, no longer reading the gauge. This happens while in motion and while parked.

I was driving my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee when it shut off while I was driving 40 mph luckily I was in a parking lot and could slow down to the shoulder where I was then pushed away from traffic they said it was due to a short in my tippin and my fuel pump went my truck was brought brand new and barely has 50,000 miles on it and over 2000 complaints for the same thing for faulty equipment put in the vehicles from 2005 to 2014 and Chrysler does not want to be held accountable so they have not put a recall on it and it is an open lawsuit that I saw it cost me over $3000 to get this fixed and this could really have went a different way I could've been hit and killed Chrysler needs to be held accountable but I guess they won't make a recall and less someone is killed.

N58 my Jeep did something weird on 4/21/2019 dash lights came on like abs and traction control light was on in the dash but the push button light down below the heat buttons was also on. Also service 4 wheel drive was flashing on the dash along with the selector wheel on the left of the dash screen went to terrain mode all by it self. Also on the screen it chimed 4 wheel drive unavailable. I was in drive and driving straight.

The vehicle is brand new and a few months after purchasing it the vehicle would shut down electrically (twice while driving) and the steering wheel and brakes would lock up. Since purchasing the vehicle in November of 2017 I have had 4 to 5 separate occasions where the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership in Jeep/Chrysler in libertyville, illinois. I made verbal complaints after the second and third time. I was told after the last issue the problem was resolved and no more issues would occur, about 10 months later the issue has occured once again for a fourth time. I have son that I pick up on the weekends which requires me to drive on the highway. My fear is that the electrical will go out and my son will be hurt in a car accident due to the steering and brakes locking and no way to stop the vehicle safely. The occasion where is was driving the vehicle starting going haywire, the dash lights were flickering and different signs were coming on and the brakes became very hard to press until I couldnt any longer and the steering became really hard to move until it eventually locked as well. On 9 April 2019, the last of the few issues that has happened to this vehicle it was stationary and it wouldnt start and the electrical started acting up with the dashboard giving me the same messages from the last few times that the situation had occurred.

Noticed when I was on the freeway steering got really wobbly thought it was because I roateted my tires however popped my hood and notice my power steering reservoir was empty filled it up and than noticed green all over my driveway.

Fuses keep coming lose and causing abs to go off when you start off to drive and other error msgs to light up. Push back down and its good for a while.

Abs eas and traction controll warning lights on again with service 4wd system message after completing 1st recall, vehicle was just started and put in to drive acceleration to 12 mph causes bad grinding noise and loss of power just about enough to get you in to the middle of an intersection very dangerous then it seems to catch and regains power the warning lights stay on and you can drive it all day with no issues but as soon as you turn it off and back on it will do it again.

Directional signals not working interior lights not working radio not working check engine light on abs warning light on all happened at once when starting car in subfreezing temperatures (2 deg).

Air ride suspension suspended warning vehicle was just started. Turned off restarted then vehicle engaged 4low and again indicated suspension system suspended.

I have reported a problem on January 7, 2019 about the vehicle lcd display failed to light up when I starting my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in some occasion. And later have identified some more problems. The gps no longer works, it is turning around at an irrelevant position when I am driving on the road, and the display frequently pups up a warning of �vehicle phone requires service, please contact your dealer. � as the attached photo. With an appointment, I bring back my car to the dealer this morning (1/28/2019), it doesn't been fixed at the end of the day, nor does it been able to return to the state before callback service, not event been able to rollback to the state as I hand over it in the morning. The uconnect system no longer exist on my vehicle , and could not reinstalled without radio system hardware being replaced with a new one, for which I need to pay $890. 37 as I been informed officially during the service. I am very frustrated, as my car was very lightly used (only 33kmiles) and does not have any problems before the recall service, and got three uconnect issues just after the recall service, and then in the attempt to fixing these tree issues in the service department of the dealer, the control device was physically destroyed even the uconnect system no longer been able to reinstalled . I am not the person that irrationally denying the wear and tear of vehicle hardware, but what the hell of the purpose of the recall service? and why should I responsible for all the consequence of the recall service that never exist before?.

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact received a recall notice under NHTSA campaign number:19v813000 (electrical system). The contact called nyle maxwell pre-owned supercenter 13817 n research blvd, austin, TX 78750 where he was informed that the parts are not available. The contact had spoken with the manufacturer where he was provided with the same information as the dealer. The contact had experienced the failure where the vehicle would shut off without warning at various speeds intermittently. He had taken the vehicle to the same dealer prior where he was informed that they were unable to duplicate the matter or repair the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000. Grand cherokee recall Jeep failed to make us aware of an alternator recall. My husband broke down on the side of the road (nearly killed mind you. ) we had our car towed to our mechanic. Mechanic fixed the vehicle, and mentioned to us that the part had actually been recalled, again this was the first that we were made aware of this. We contacted Jeep and put in a claim. Jeep, five months later, told us that we are only eligible for half of what we spent on the repair, because our mechanic was only 1. 6 miles away from a Jeep dealer. Why would I go to a Jeep dealer to pay a premium not knowing the issue was actually because Jeeps neglect to inform us of the recall? half the reimbursement, does not even cover the cost for the tow.

Car's tipm has been messing up. They say there hasn't been a recall on my model for that and another says it has been fixed. My car won't start at times, my horn honks at random times and just today my car stalled while on the interstate. I know the tipm had been a problem with these vehicles but I cant get any help with mine without paying out of pocket. I've about had it with my Jeep.

I have put my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a recall service (mfgr campaign#: cdjr s27, cdjr u65) recently, in which I been told by the service person that only software ware been updated for this recall service. Since then, the lcd display screen will not start to light up in some occasion when I turn on my car, the screen does not response for any touch at this movement, and it eventually light up after 3-5minutes and turns up the display to the normal. This problem happens every other days, and makes me very hesitate to backup my car whenever it happens, as I get used of the backup camera on the car. The problem never exist before the recent recall service. In the normal way, the screen shows the booting up display whenever I starts up my car, but now, for some occasion, the screen keeps in dead for 3-5 minutes after the engine has been start up.

The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. The contact also mentioned that a recall notification was received in January 2020 ( NHTSA recall number: 19v8913000 " electrical system l directly related to the failure that occurred. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000. Bp.

When driving on a highway (temps 3 to 7 above zero) air suspension caused vehicle to lower to lowest ride which intern caused vehicle to slide and bounce uncontrollably on highway, air suspension stops working without notice. Happens several times a year in cold temps.

Driving down the road, the and and traction control lights come on while driving and tranny doesn't shift causing loss of brakes and revving of engine.

The vehicle would not start. It has a push button ignition switch start. It locked up and it could not be towed because the tow truck driver could not get it in natural to move it. I was stranded for 12 hours with nothing to eat or drink before I got help. All electrical systems shut down and I was alone in a very bad area at the time. Unless the vehicle started it would do nothing and could not be towed. Jeep needs a recall on this very unsafe system. They should be made put in an override switch or be able to start the vehicle with a key. I am 76 years old and I was going to start on a 500 mile trip that day. Very good thing it happen when it did. The vehicle would have been dead along the road with no help. All push button starts need a backup to get out of this safety hazard. I unlocked the door get in and pushed the start button and nothing. All kind of lights lit up on the instrument panel and displayed a lot of things that would not work. The transmission would not go in or out of gear.

In October 2018 we had a frontend collision on the highway with a deer. Since then the air suspension ride has not worked properly. It has been in for major repairs numerous times. The Dodge dealer sends us home hoping that they guessed the problem correctly. To no avail. The problem returns. We call the hotline and play phone tag with a representative.
