One problem related to hatchback/liftgate lock has been reported for the 2001 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear hatch, door and glass, will not open. It began selectively unlocking and now no components work. The only way to access it is by remote keyless entry and it no longer operates. I also cannot repair my tail lights due to it not opening.
